Launching of a €10.6M Plant Health surveillance project funded by the European Union 

On the 22nd of September, the Tanzanian Ministry of agriculture and the FAO launched a 3-year agriculture project related to plant health surveillance. The program is funded by the European Union, which will provide €10M grants in total. 

The organisation currently finances a €100M program in support of coffee, tea and horticulture in Tanzania Southern Highlands and Zanzibar (Agri-Connect program, 2019-2024).
